It was an honour and privilege for students and staff from ARKS Diyar to be invited to the 74th anniversary celebrations of the People’s Republic of China. In the presence of the Chinese ambassador and dignitaries from across the Ministry of Bahrain ARKS students performed a Chinese national song to the delight of the watching audience. Principal Paul Sherlock proudly stated ‘ it’s wonderful for ARKS students and their parents to be here this evening sharing in this momentous occasion, we are proud to be the only school in Bahrain to deliver Mandarin to our students at ARKS’. He added ‘we see this as an opportunity for our students to learn a new language that we hope will benefit them in their chosen career paths in the future’.
