Abdulrahman Kanoo School Diyar (ARKS) today announced its winning House for the 2023/24 academic year. With the support of the school’s Lower Secondary- Yr.9 group, the unveiling occurred in front of very excited peers from across the school. Staff and students are divided randomly across the four houses during the admission process, a method that aims to create a balanced and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork and school spirit

The School House system was developed as a way of creating smaller, more connected communities within the broader school community, where students have a built-in place where they belong. It is a way to promote community, teamwork, and healthy competition. The points were awarded for following the school values ARKEDU: Aspirational, Respect, Kindness, Excellence, Diversity & Uniqueness. This included supporting the school’s vision for sustainability, wellbeing, academic excellence and sports participation. “We believe this inclusive approach aims to ensure that all students, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities, have equal access to all aspects of ARKS.
