Primary School

With over 11 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of supporting children as they learn, grow, and discover their potential. As Deputy Head of Primary, I believe that every child deserves to feel valued, challenged, and inspired. My passion is creating a nurturing environment where students develop confidence, curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
At ARKS, we recognise that every child is unique. We are committed to providing high-quality learning experiences that support both academic achievement and personal growth. Through strong partnerships with families and a caring school community, we empower our students to become independent learners, responsible individuals, and compassionate members of society.
This vision closely aligns with my own educational philosophy. ARKS Diyar provides high-quality education that empowers students to become successful and principled citizens within both the local and global community. I am proud to be part of a school that shares my commitment to nurturing well-rounded learners who are equipped to thrive and make a positive difference in the world. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to our school community.

Primary School Curriculum (Years 2 to 6)
Key Stage 1 and 2
As students transition into Primary starting in Year 2, the OIC utilises a structured, spiral approach where key concepts are consistently revisited, reinforced, and deepened as students grow through to Year 6.
The Primary Curriculum Pillars
Academic Core: English, Mathematics, Science, and Arabic benchmarked to high international standards to ensure academic excellence.
Global Skills Projects: A distinctive feature of the OIC where primary students engage in interdisciplinary, project-based learning. This builds essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, research, and problem-solving.
Sustainability: Students dive deeper into environmental consciousness and character development, learning how to be responsible global citizens.
Wellbeing: Explicitly scheduled into the weekly timetable, this framework provides the moral and emotional scaffolding students need to develop self-regulation, mindfulness, and emotional resilience as they navigate their growing years.
Multilingual Excellence: Continued mastery of English alongside robust language pathways. We offer advanced Arabic & Islamic Studies fully aligned with national standards for native speakers, alongside dedicated Arabic as a Second Language (ASL) pathways and ongoing development in Mandarin as a vital global language of the future.
