Abdulrahman Kanoo School Diyar (ARKS) celebrated its first Children’s Day today in PreSchool. Under the umbrella of this United Nations initiative, the theme for 2022 was “a better future for every child”. An incredible day saw the support of great leadership from our Yr. 3 students who made posters and supported the events. The atmosphere was palpable with students singing and dancing. Special thanks to Ms. Khawla Saleh (Mother of our student Khalid Nasib) for supporting the programme, which saw a special guest in the classroom-  Stuart from the Minions Movie. A special treat for PreSchool  and an opportunity to celebrate our incredible students. Speaking about the event, PreSchool Deputy Head Mrs Katrina Mclernon said ” World Children’s Day was celebrated at ARKS Diyar today.  The day is celebrated annually in honour of children to promote togetherness and awareness among children.
It was an exciting day for all students.  The teachers made the day special as they had a lot of fun-filled activities organised. ”
