Three Abdulrahman Kanoo School Diyar (ARKS) students sat the YCT International Chinese Examination and received their results today. ARKS is the first school in the Kingdom to be an official YCT Examination Centre, outside of the University of Bahrain (UOB). This has been the vision of the school’s leadership to strive for continuous efforts to enrich opportunities for our students. Again, ARKs is the only school to offer Mandarin, from Reception to Yr 9. The international exam was a great benchmark for the Mandarin Department, given that it is measured at an international level. 

Our students rose to the challenge with dedication and enthusiasm, confidently sitting an international exam where they were able to demonstrate impressive growth in language skills, cultural understanding, and perseverance. Their results were outstanding — every student passed successfully, with scores reflecting both their commitment and the quality of teaching they receive. This achievement highlights not only the hard work of our learners, but also the strength of our school’s vision in preparing students for global opportunities.This marks a significant step in building bridges between our students and the wider international community, making global opportunities more accessible to young learners in the Kingdom.

A key part of this success has been our collaboration with the Confucius Institute (CI). Their expertise and partnership have enriched our programme, ensuring our students are guided by international best practices. Together, we are laying the foundation for even more students to cross this bridge in the future.
