Arabic Reading Week

Arabic Reading Week at Arks Diyar School, held from February 23 to 27, was a vibrant celebration of Arabic language and literature. The event engaged both students and parents in a variety of interactive activities.

For the Infant School, parents were invited to visit classrooms, where they read stories to the students. Afterward, they led activities related to the stories, enhancing the children’s understanding and enjoyment. Year 1 students also took part by visiting Nursery classes to read stories and share their love for reading with the younger children.

In the Secondary School, students participated in a range of exciting activities, including an Arabic poster-making and a thrilling treasure hunt, both centered around the theme of Arabic reading. The week was wrapped in with an assembly filled with Arabic reading-related activities, promoting the importance of reading in Arabic in a fun and engaging way.

Overall, Arabic Reading Week at Arks Diyar School was a successful and enriching experience that brought together the school community to celebrate the Arabic language and inspire a passion for reading.
