“We Read” Activity

The Arabic Department at Abdul Rahman Kanoo School Diyar (ARKS Diyar) hosted a remarkable reading event on Sunday, titled “We Read,” creating a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere that celebrated the joy of literature. This engaging occasion featured a series of interactive reading sessions aimed at igniting a passion for reading. The event was further enriched by the presence of Ms. Aisha Al-Attawi, the Private Schools Coordinator for the Arabic Reading Challenge, whose involvement added an extra layer of significance.

This event aligns with ARKS Diyar’s core value of Excellence, as it not only encourages students to strive for academic achievement but also nurtures their intellectual and emotional growth through the love of reading. By promoting Arabic literacy in a thoughtful and creative way, the school provides students with the tools to excel in both language and critical thinking. The event serves as an embodiment of the school’s commitment to excellence, not only in academics but in fostering well-rounded individuals who value knowledge and cultural identity.

Through initiatives like “We Read,” ARKS Diyar empowers students to embrace reading as a lifelong habit, building the foundation for future success. By preserving and promoting the Arabic language, the school ensures that students grow with a deeper understanding of their cultural heritage, enabling them to become exceptional individuals capable of contributing meaningfully to society.
