For the third consecutive year, the Ramadan Boxes campaign was launched with the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan and was organized in partnership with the Muharraq Charity Society. The initiative aims to contribute more to the community and assist those in need. This year, 90 boxes were collected and distributed through the partnership with Muharraq Charity Society.
The boxes contained a variety of essential Ramadan items, including flour, macaroni, oil, rice, cream caramel, jelly, harees seeds, lentil seeds, and more. The generosity of students was evident, as the items were donated by them. Year 1 students contributed by designing the boxes with beautiful Ramadan-themed decorations, while Year 8 students were responsible for carefully packing the items inside the boxes. Class captains from Year 5 and 6 played a vital role by handing over the completed boxes to the Muharraq Charity Society. Finally, the House Champions on Thursday, February 27th, distributed the boxes to those in need at the Muharraq Charity Society, ensuring that the blessings of Ramadan reached as many people as possible.
This campaign showcases the strong sense of community spirit and solidarity, with students, staff, and the charity society working together to bring comfort and joy to those less fortunate during the holy month.
